Terms of Service
Last updated: August 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using Michigan On Demand, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What the app provides
Michigan On Demand is a directory of community resources — including food assistance, housing, jobs, training, and emergency services — intended to help residents find help more easily. We are not the provider of these services; we connect you to organizations and programs that are.
3. Accuracy of listings
We review listings before publishing and act on reports of outdated or incorrect information, but third-party programs can change their hours, eligibility, or availability without notice. We do not guarantee that any listed resource will be available exactly as described, and we recommend confirming details directly with the provider when it matters — especially for time-sensitive or emergency needs.
4. Not an emergency service
Michigan On Demand is not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988.
5. Accounts
Creating an account is optional. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide — including anything you submit as a resource proposal, job posting, job application, or profile. Content submitted for publication (resource proposals, job postings) is reviewed before becoming visible to others. You may delete your account at any time.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app — including submitting false resource reports, attempting to disrupt the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The Michigan On Demand name, logo, and app design are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission. Information about third-party organizations and programs listed in the app remains the property of those organizations.
8. Changes to the service
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the app at any time. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep core resource-finding functionality available and accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
Michigan On Demand is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or your reliance on listed resources.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
